Customer Service tips from my trip to San Fran

While in San Francisco I experienced some unique customer service. There is a genuine passion for customer service in retail and hospitality in the USA and I was impressed. 
Not once did I feel waiters, or staff were going through the motions of their job. They way people speak is very genuine, personable and open making you feel warm, welcome and comfortable. 

Here's my findings and a few thoughts you might be able to take away to your business.

San Francisco here I come!

San Francisco is famous for many things, not least a TV show called Full House and two big bridges. Well thats all I know at the moment. Apart from the fact that it's also Zendesk's Headquarters, and that's where I'm off to for the next ten days.

Before this year I my only international travel was a 2 week trip to Sydney when I was 16. This year I have been to Australia twice, Tokyo to see my Sister, and now San Fran. Hopefully that puts some perspective around my excitement. First trip to the USA!

I'm looking forward to trying out the Foursquare application that everyone's hyping up. Be sure to get the real review live and direct from me during the week.

I'm looking forward to spending some time meeting and hanging out with the Zendesk crew, and checking out the sights. I'm sure there will be plenty of work done too.
